As a professional I know how important it is to have the proper tools. Such as blow dryers, flat iron, curling iron, brushes and PRODUCTS! It wasn't until recently when I realized how important investing in these necessities really is. I know I've heard it a million times my clients say they wish their hair would come out the same when they did it themselves, I know the majority of my clientelle respects my recommendations and uses the suggested products...so why are they having such a hard time? Can you believe I recently visited my family in Chicago and forgot to bring my TOOLS?! What a nightmare, it was then I realized how vital quality equipment is...and why people have such a difficulty creating the same salon look. Even though my family has the best of the best products, their tools were hardly up to par! 1 (wrong sized) round brush, not to mention the bristles were practically disinegrated, a HORRIBLE blow dryer that was not even close to being hot enough or powerful enough and a flat iron that pulled my hair and didn't even straighten it, needless to say I looked like...I did my hair myself! Not only was is TIME CONSUMING, my hair was frizzy and I looked like I was wearing a wig! No wonder clients are having issues I am certain they are using the same common tools the average person is using, so no matter how great the product, if the tools are not above standard it will cause quite frustration! Moral of the story...want your hair to look like it was professionally styled, in half the time, with less damage?! Ask me about professional tools and recommendations that are RIGHT for YOUR hair type! I personally use the CHI blow dryer (which is ceramic, ionic and infrared technology, that protects against damage) and GHD Flat Iron, I prepare my hair with MoroccanOil shampoo and conditioner and style with Redken products! Although professional tools are a little more expensive, look at it as an investment! Your hair will thank you!
